Set in a small condominium of townhouses and apartments, this beautiful 2-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom property has a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living and dining room. The property has a large private roof terrace ideal for sunbathing and a shared pool with spectacular views over Carvoeiro and its traditional Portuguese cove and beach.

The space

Located in a quiet cliff-top condominium above the beach, this beautiful 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom holiday home has a fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee machine and an open-plan living and dining room with a smart TV with streaming service and wifi. The home also has a large private rooftop terrace ideal for sunbathing.

The shared pool has spectacular views of Carvoeiro and its cove and beach. The panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean down the Algarve coast from the rooftop terrace can also be seen from the main bedroom and the living room windows.

The master bedroom has a super-king size bed, a built-in wardrobe, and a desk. The second bedroom has a super-king size bed or 2 single beds.

The main bathroom has a bathtub. The powder room on the main floor has a toilet, a sink, and a mirror.

Getting around

There is free street parking for a small number of cars, and a garage parking space is available. Walking to the beach and nearby shops and restaurants is the best way to enjoy these attractions.

Where you’ll be

Located on the cliffs, it is an easy walk (around 3 minutes) to the beach, Praia do Carvoeiro, which is a sandy bay surrounded by bars, restaurants, and shops. Carvoeiro is the perfect blend of Portuguese heritage with modern tourist facilities. Locally, there are a variety of golf courses, water parks, a tennis club, horseback riding, and water sports. Carvoeiro Boardwalk is within a 10-minute walk of the property, where you can walk down stone steps built into the cliff.

Within a short car journey (about 15 minutes), you can reach the beautiful Carvalho beach, where you will feel like a real explorer. Children will love finding the staircase through two hidden tunnels in the cliff to arrive at the beach. Just as easily, you can drive to Benagil, where you can enjoy a walk along the clifftops, or take a boat trip from Carvoeiro to the Benagil caves. Other beaches close by include Praia da Marinha and Praia de Vale de Centianes.

Enjoy shopping? Visit the Aqua shopping centre in Portimão to the west of Carvoeiro or the Algarve Shopping Mall in Guia (near Albufeira) to the east (both about 15 minutes away by car). They are all within easy reach by car, but because of the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that surrounds you, you may decide to never leave.

SEF Requirements

All property owners in Portugal have a legal requirement to report tourist and guest information to the Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (SEF). Upon booking, we will send you a blank SEF form for you to complete and send back to us prior to your arrival. It is a mandatory requirement.

City Tax Implementation: Effective April 13, 2024

According to the regulations, the fee is two euros between April 1 and October 31 and one euro per night between November 1 and March 31, and will be charged for a maximum of seven consecutive nights to all guests aged 13 or over.

The measure applies to paid overnight stays in tourist resorts, local accommodation establishments, campsites, and caravan parks, regardless of the booking method (in person, analogue, or digitally). 

You have the option to make payments either in cash directly to Gianny, via PayPal to rentals@casaandkeyalgarve.com, or through a bank transfer.

Other things to note

• A refundable deposit of €350 is required in cash upon arrival or paid via PayPal. The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after check-out upon a satisfactory inspection and using the same payment method.
