The balcony and the roof terrace are the best spot for your holiday pictures it has most stunning views. Apartment is in perfect location, close to all the bars, restaurants and shops. Beautiful beaches within walking distance. Good size swimming pool just outside our door. Basically it has everything you would want for a perfect holiday!. I highly recommend this place, we had our best holidays ever.

read moreVery modern apartment with pool and walking distance to several beaches - We had a very lovely stay in this apartment. The balcony is very spacious with a dinner table as well as a lounge area with view of the pool. Also the pool area is nice, we particularly liked that there was also a toilet and shower right next to it. The kitchen is equipped very well, we found everything that we needed for cooking. Everything was super clean with nice details so we felt right at home. We also felt that the location was very nice. We did not have a rental car but were still able to reach everything by foot. Only for a bigger trip for groceries we took a taxi which was not too pricy. We could reach our favorite beach Praia do Canavial in 20 minutes by foot which was definitely worth the walk. There are other beaches closer as well as well as a very nice viewpoint Ponta da Piedade. For restaurants there are good options close to the apartment (5 minute walk) and the the lively city centre is also a 20 minute walk. All in all it was definetly worth the money spent as the apartment is in really good shape, clean and located quite nicely. And of course the pool is a big plus! We definitely want to come back.

read moreWe really enjoyed staying at Elizabeth’s place in Carvoeiro. It’s very comfortable, spacious and pleasant. It was also impeccably clean. There are two bedrooms, and both have very comfortable beds (we are very picky about that). The kitchen is a good size and easy to cook in. The location is terrific, just a five minute walk up the hill from the central plaza. There is a very nice view from the upper deck, but if you were expecting stunning views from the living room, you will be disappointed. We didn’t really care about that, because everywhere you walk in town has beautiful views. All you have to do is go outside of the unit to see an endless expanse of ocean. Elizabeth’s welcome guide is the best one I’ve seen in an Airbnb. Lots of interesting information about towns to visit nearby, places to eat, and the history of the region. The other great thing about this unit is the parking. And many thanks to Gianny, Who greeted us, and checked in to make sure things were going well.

This is a quiet neighbourhood but everyone is very friendly and welcoming and it was just a 20 minute walk into Silves. We didn’t have a car but used the local taxi firm who were great. We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday or as a base to explore further afield.

The photos on the site are extremely accurate and the house is perfectly clean with excellent facilities. The kitchen has everything you need. The roller shutters keep the heat out during the day, as well as air conditioning in every room. Nice patio area at the front around the shared pool. It’s a very steep hill up to the apartments, so keep that in mind if you’re travelling with older relatives. Check in was excellent and the communication from Gianny was also extremely good. We would definitely come back.

Furniture could be updated with something more sturdy . It all seemed very fragile that could break at any moment.
rawers could not be used in wardrobe as base kept falling out (top drawer).Bathroom could do with more lighting. Bulbs might need changing as there's a few phantom switches and there is no window in bedroom.
Key handover by Gianny was perfectly organized. The location is right in the center of Carvoeiro and especially from the 1st floor and the roof terrace has a nice sea view. The terraced house is very comfortable and sufficiently equipped. The underground parking space and the communal pool were in addition very pleasant. Despite the central location, we would recommend a car to go for hikes and beaches in the area.

It also has a large patio ideal for barbecuing or just relaxing. A large pool is close by with plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. The beach and Albufeira are within a short driving distance. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment for both short or long term stays.

A very short walk through the meadow to the local Aldi and a further 10min walk into town to all amenities. The house was just right for our family, two teenage girls, plenty of space and we are very happy that we paid for the heated pool which meant we could use it any time of day! Gianny was very responsive and super helpful with any questions and advice on local restaurants! We would definitely come and stay here again, we fell in love with Silves and appreciated the green surroundings with the beaches only being a 20 - 30min drive away. Thank you and see you again !!
read moreIt was really good value for money and a fresh clean modern look with just enough decoration to also make it homely. The kitchen was great since we like to cook for ourselves at least for some of the stay, and the location, and with car parking space underground was fabulous.
We were a bit disappointed by the showers, as there was a full stream of water only with cold, and no good water pressure for the hot water. It was okay though. We never met the hosts, but they kept in good phone/ whats app contact for our enquiries. A friendly neighbour helped us work out how the garage remote function on the key worked - this was not easy to work out by ourselves in the darkness.

Very comfortable with good linen and pillows. Balcony off the front bedroom with spectacular views. Extremely comfy loungers in front of property and by the pool. Lovely temp in the pool and relaxed/easy atmosphere. We will be back.

What can I say! Loved this place, beautiful two storey townhouse with a downstairs patio area overlooking the pool, a balcony off the main first floor bedroom and a roof terrace with sun loungers. The 2 bedrooms can be made up as singles or king sized beds. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens. The whole apartment is very classy and fitted out to a high specification. The kitchen had everything you need. Cant wait to come back

Child-proof apartment overall. They built in the area when we were there but nothing that disturbed at all. read moreWhat a great place to stay. We were welcomed by Gianny who was also really helpful to any questions that we had during our stay. We have two small children and the place was perfect for them. The pool was ideal for our 3 year old and the cot provided was perfect for our baby. All of the amenities were spot on as described. There are some great local restaurants within a 15 min walk where you can try the local specialties and the beach was lovely. It was really helpful that a beach umbrella was provided too. When we left our 3 year old said “can we come back here next year?” What more can you ask for?

I spent some unforgettable days at Elisabeth's house. Everything is so much better than in pictures. Everything is worth noting! Perfect internet to meet the needs of a 15-year-old. Spotless and well-kept pool. HUGE rooms! Perfect and enough for more than 6 people. Great TV, although I made use of my own Amazon FIRESTICK. Sublime views of Silves Castle, which falls in love when lit at night! Gianny's attention was always worth framing! He offered to everything at all times, even solved a problem with the hair dryer and brought us one right away. Wonderful stay that, I hope, will be back soon! ESSENTIAL!

Living room / kitchen large area overlooking the main street where you can see the sea. Bedroom area and bathroom are also great. Elevator and two swimming pools. Super attentive host, checking top logistics with all the information, I managed to get into the apartment early which was excellent for me. I walked in around 1:30 p.m. Great location, it is close to restaurants and bars, but during the night we did not hear much noise. Close to the beach.

We may have been unlucky but it was very windy most evenings - I don’t know if the balcony is caught in a wind trap or it was just the weather the week we were there but it was impossible to sit out in the evenings and we only managed it one night which was a shame but didn’t put a dampener on things.
It was one of those situations where the reality actually surpassed the listing and the photos! We were completely taken aback by the apartment, it’s size, location and facilities. The location is great - we did hire a car though. But it’s a few minute drive to free parking for Ponta Da Piedade and Praia Da Camilo beach. Around 5 minutes to multi-storey paid parking next to Lagos town and again a short drive to supermarkets. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed for a self catering stay. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s very safe and secure, with key coded entry to the block, then building with a keysafe for the apartment key.
Nice apartment with view of Silves castle. Pool was spacious and pleasant. A net to fish out debris would be beneficial. Overall it’s a very spacious apartment with some nice modern touches. Not everything however was perfect. Broken toilet seat which was known about before arrival could at least have been informed about, fixed following day. The jacuzzi baths also didn’t function fully, blind in the main bedroom had to be permanently closed. These minor points detract from what otherwise is a lovely space.

The apartment was super clean and very very comfortable. The balcony was a fantastic addition to have breakfast on. The pool and surrounding area was beautiful and quiet. Communication was excellent and very responsive. Situated within walking distance of Lagos old town, beaches and supermarkets. UBER was less than 4 euros from town if we didn’t fancy walking. Especially the (very quiet) air conditioning was a dream come true in outside temperatures to 40 degrees. We especially liked the equipment in the kitchen, everything your heart was sufficiently available, so that cooking is really fun. For a next visit, we would love a seating area with a table on the roof terrace, so that you can also enjoy the view from there, for example, while eating. Unfortunately, there are only loungers there, but you can only look at the wall and not the sea. In addition, it should be expected that the communal pool will be besieged by many loud playing and screaming children. It didn't bother us any further, but it's not particularly quiet during the day

read moreWe enjoyed our stay here. This is the second time we have staying in the same place staying in a different house previously in the row but this was very similar. Overall the stay was great. The house is well equipped and close to the supermarkets. We like to walk with the kids so we didn't mind it being a walk (around 1 mile) into town and there is a shortcut across the field which shorten the journey. The location is very close to be a good supermarket. There is a good Portuguese restaurant about 5 mins walk from the house which we used twice during the stay. Silves is very small pretty town which we found to be easy to walk around and we used the park by the river a lot to keep the kids entertained. Its probably best to have transport if you are staying at the house, but the house itself and pool etc were great for just relaxing. The only issue we encountered were the dogs barking, which sometimes went on quite late but it didn't ruin our break. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The apartment was extremely clean and spacious, with lots of outside space. The well-equipped kitchen was a delight for cooking enthusiasts, and the comfortable beds and ample storage were appreciated. The hosts provided excellent service, particularly with pickup details, making our stay even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, one of the best apartments we've stayed in during our numerous trips to Lagos. We can't wait to return!

We spent very nice days in this wonderful and very well equipped house with a view. The location is super good. Shopping, restaurants, and the beach are within walking distance. We didn't miss anything, the host is making every effort to ensure that everything is fine and will get back to you regularly. We would book this house again immediately anytime. We will be back!

Highly recommend this appartement for the location, also because Carvoeiro is ideal (in the middle) to explore the coast of the Algarve. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather. Oct/Nov (most likely winters) can be very moist, with high humidity levels in the appartement. Extra towels for this time of the year or even a washer/dryer combination in the appartement would have been helpful. Other than that we had a lovely time and recommend this vacation rental.

We stayed 4 nights and wish we had more daylight hours to take advantage of the facilities. Pool on the property, opportunity for sun bathing and relaxing on private rooftop patio or near the pool. Beach is just down the hill. Everything in Carvoeiro is in easy walking distance. Underground parking with private space was very convenient in a town with narrow streets and limited parking. The only challenge was driving to the specific location since online maps guided us to a one way street that we could not enter. Host did provide directions and address that we probably should have investigated more closely before arriving. Also, it was easy to communicate with host to help us through the routing. Make no mistake, however, this location is the best and is easy to get to if you enter the one way road from the correct side. Highly recommend!

read moreWe enjoyed our stay in Carvoeiro with 3 wonderful hikes along the Karst cliffs. The headlands trail direction west toward lagos was our favorite, followed by the hike from Benagil Beach to Marinha (also did the boat ride to see the caves from the water...wonderful!!) The 7 hanging valleys trail was also great...challenging however. The Apt (managed by Elizabeth and Gianny) is luxurious with super comfortable beds and a well appoined kitchen for cooking and laundry. Even tho it looks like there is a unit above this 2 story rental...we never heard any noise from above. We had car trouble and our car was 'stuck" in the garage for 5 hours until a tow truck finally arrived. Gianny was very concerned and checked in with us often. Only problem we had was a slow drain in the shower and a leak from the pressure valves (the water heater in the kitchen) We let the management know and these issues did not affect my 5 star rating. We would definitely come back to this comfortable apt.
